Laika story idea.
Laika is very young. Maybe 5-6.
She sits on a bench before a pretty pond. All other children around her are feeding goose and duck, but no animal will come to her. They natural feel what is wrong with her.
Her Oni half-self. She has wristlet on that keeps her safe at this stage.
Even though she have full bag of crackers that are very tasty. The animal will not come to get food from her. Only the other children at the pond.
She look at the small bag she has and then back at the goose and ducks.
She begins to cry very hard. Her tears stream down her face. She is in such torment!!!
Her whole tiny body shakes.
She feels so alone. She drops the bag and hug herself so very tight against her reality.
She make a promise to her self. I will never be in this position again!!!
gI will never love!h she say over the water.
Those birds that hear her take off.
Her voice echo across the empty place.
She will not open her heart ever again.
Her sister approach and place her hand on Laika shoulder.
gYou are alone?h
gYes,h innocent Laika replies. gI do not feel good.h
Sister smile. gThat is us. This is what we are.h
Laika look up and her sad face is reflected in her sister face. As in a mirror. Both feel the same.
gYou must practice.h Fuuka say. She does not smile, but her face convey conviction.
(As if practice can replace love.)
gThis is the only way to overcome. Be the best!!!h
Young Laika accepts this. Her sister is this!!!

Across lake, a scientist take picture of them both. He know truth. He is a brilliant programmer, but he know Oni when he see them. His latest program is the perfect ONI BRACELET!!! That can stop all manifestation!!! He study them because he want to help them help themselves. His wife take his arm and point at cherry tree.
The blossom is very pretty. He let the camera drop and look at the beautiful trees with her.
gWill it ever stop?h Laika ask her sister.
Her sister shake her head.
She say, gNo.h Sister eyes are very sad at this point.
Little Laika, only 6 year old holds head in hand and tears slip through her fingers.
gI cannot love,h she whispers.
Her sister only nod.
She look down at seed bag. It is not needed after all.
--with this I mean to apply even more reason why Laika donft (or do want) want Onii-Chan close. Only Mr. Hasegawa know truth. (now I place burden of responsibility back on Mr. Hasegawa. Hahaha. Even readers can torture artist!!! Yes???)
Please do not mistake me. I only want to write fan story. If you do not like it because it go against comic, please be free to say I am wrong. But I think that maybe it is ok. I would like to see very early years of Laika. That could be cute or horrible. I guess bad, based on her violence. But she is half Oni, so she has already seen horrible thing, which we can only imagine. ???
I think this is a nice thing to introduce early years, which is not violent. She protect herself cause she is afraid that other can find out.
Problem is that American tourist is Onii-Chan father!!! (At least what I write)
I try to link it. I so love Laika flashback. That was so true for poor Onii-Chan. And I really like Laika after I read it. She is so strong and weak at same time. Poor sad girl.
