Monday, January 20, 2003 "Junichi Love" By: Xuanwu and Rheya My first Tsunami Channel fan comic. This was just after the end of the first Haruna Arc and Junichi had sadly departed. The character, Xuanwu, is where my Internet handle comes from. His character designed is based largely on me, though the white streak and hairdo are very "bishienized." He was supposed to be the main character of a webcomic I was working on before I came to Tsunami Channel; a project that fell through. Rheya (the catgirl) was based on my former girlfriend and was also Xuanwu's main love interest. Now you know. I always had the strong impression that Akira approved more of my earlier work than "Ask the Professor." Maybe I should go back to doing fan comics like this.
